SHOWCASE: Adepta Sororitas - Sisters of Battle

Got a good deal on an unpainted Sisters of Battle army a few months back and finally got a chance to get some painted. I'll be playing at the Alamo GT in San Antonio next month if you want to see them in person.

Total haul was 4 Immolators, 2 Exorcists, 100 Sisters (A LOT of Special and Heavy Weapons), 3 Penitent Engines, 20 various acolytes, hechmen, etc, Saint Celestine, and a squad each of Seraphim and Repentia. All for $300. Retail on these is currently around $2,500 as a squad of ten figures alone goes for $80.

WiP painting of the first round. I used all six vehicles as Immolators. Gamesworkshop was nice enough to send me two more canopies so I had enough transports.

Just a quick paint job on the thirty sisters. All done in a day. The six Immolators took a really long time due to all the little details.

Commanders and the Penitent Engine walkers. The Mistress is being used as my second Canoness.

The first Combined Arms detachment is three Flamer/Heavy Flamer squads in Immolators with Multi-meltas. Their Heavy Support are the three Exorcists.

The Seconds Combined Arms detachment is another three squads in Multi-melta Immolators with Multi-metla, Meltagun Sisters. Their Heavy Support will be three Avenger Strike Fighters when I get them.

The three cathedral tanks. The artillery are organ cannons and are controlled by a piano.

And finally the Exorcist.
